This is my recording of one of my favorite songs by the Old Crow Medicine Show. Their version contains no drums and is a bit more laid back. My version contains 2 Guitars, 1 Bass, Drums and vocals (doubled on the chorus) all done by me in about 2 hours to record in full.

I like the more beat to this version reminds me of a Modest Mouse type sound. I just wish I could sing better. Oh well enjoy!

This was a fun little project I did awhile back. I first recorded each part of the song, guitar, bass, vocals drums. Then I decided to make a music video for it (found HERE ). For filming the video I used my digital camera which records video as well. I did one take for each part. I then edited the video with Sony Vegas Video to look like all 3 people (all me) are in the same room. I thought it turned out good, could have been better but I did not want to spend more time making it. So here is the page for just the audio.

This is a acoustic cover of the Kings of Leon song "Bucket". I used a capo on the 5th fret on the main guitar to give it a different sound. There are three guitars in total on this track and a bass guitar. The drums were created using a drum loop I found from a jazz kit. I am playing all the instruments on this song.

As for vocals, I did those as well. You can tell that the past couple of weeks I have been listening to Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake a lot. Also I am not a talented vocalist so the grunting vocals work well (in my opinion anyway).

This is an awesome cover of Folsom Prison (Johnny Cash) done by Brandi Carlile. The sound is great! The video not so great, pretty jumpy. This was taken with my camera's video function which leaves a lot to be desired. Also I could not keep my leg from bouncing to this great tune! So it's a little jumpy.

This was a really small venue about 300 people total, one of those people was American Idol runner up David Archuleta, he was standing about 10 feet behind us the whole time.

Anyway enjoy this great cover!

So with some time off of work I really started playing guitar more. I also got a bass, so that really helps when creating new songs or in this case covering a song. I recorded each part Guitar, Bass, Vocals then used drum loops for the drums. This is a cover of the Bob Dylan song "You Aint Going Nowhere". The video was recorded after the song, so there are parts that don't match exactly. I could have cleaned it up more, but this was fun enough. Total time spent about 3 hours in making this video. I like how it came out.
